First batch of vacation photos

It’s taken me a while, but shorter than I expected, mainly due to my father purchasing a Seagate 250GB hard drive for me, so I could get these photos finished. Because of the extra space, I was able to quickly get the first few completed. I’ve already gone through all the images and converted them from RAW to JPEG: my next step, which is partially completed, is to then edit and correct the JPEG images in Adobe Photoshop. Out of the pictures I’ve taken, I’ve selected just around five hundred that I found potentially worthy: these will be picked through even more as I edit them.
But enough of that: I’ve decided to post all that I’ve converted and edited so far. The “Today’s Image” is of a wheat field in Fairview, Alberta, just a few miles away from where my grandparents live. The images below are of some of our relatives (father’s side), their home, and our trip to our grandparent’s house (mother’s side). Included are a few pictures of a family gathering up there as well. I apologize for how few I’ve been able to finalize, but I do hope you enjoy what I’ve completed so far.

You’re a hoot. I love some of the captions you put on the pics; my favorites are the last two about your grandfather!! As for the caption on the David Thompson Bible camp logo; we were in Canada at your cousin Dawn’s house, remember? The jump was from Saskatchewan to Alberta… [Fixed -Ed.]
Anywho, these are great pictures. You took some really good shots.
